The Transatlantic Marketplace 2016: Leadership in a Challenging World
The United States is about to undergo a change of leadership that will reset its national priorities. Europe is experiencing a wave of immigration that may indeed help offset the decline in its working population, but will require a Herculean effort to integrate this generally young group of migrants and provide these people with the skills they need to thrive.
The ultimate aim is a „European Dream“ that, like its American counterpart, will help generate new economic momentum and strength. Can Europe follow in the footsteps of the United States and successfully carry out an integration effort of historic proportions that draws from shared values? At the same time, digitization is forcing companies and employees to change their ways as part of their own fight for survival. What can Europe and the United States learn from each other?
Discuss these and other issues with business, political and media leaders at the Tenth Annual Transatlanic Business Conference.
